Thankful
Dear Friend,

Do you want to overcome struggles that you have never before been able to completely conquer?

If the answer is yes, then Praise God!

Child of God, I want you to know that in Christ, you can experience a new beginning right now! Let me remind you, that Jesus loves you. He died for YOU and the Holy Spirit is available to help you accomplish the goals that God has placed on your heart. So, whatever you have not accomplished since the beginning of 2024, or whatever mistakes you have made even within the past few hours — leave it in the past! My father used to say, "the past is the past because it's the past!" We need to learn how to press on towards the mark (Philippians 3:13-14). So, let’s explore “New Beginnings” and see what the Word of God has to say about moving forward in our lives.

In Genesis Chapters 6-9, we see an epic new beginning spring forth. Mankind’s DNA was so tainted from mixing with the Nephilim, that God wiped them all out with a flood. Waters came down from the arch of the firmament in the sky while simultaneously, great tsunamis were taking place in the waters of the deep. The plan of Satan was literally wiped out by God.

Our Lord repopulated the earth with just 8 survivors: Noah, his wife, his three sons Shem, Ham and Japheth, and their wives. God chose Noah because he perceived him to be from the Nephilim infiltration that would eventually be cast into hell. God gave them a mandate to be "fruitful and multiply" to repopulate the earth. The flood had led to new beginnings — a fresh start. You, too, can have a fresh start! Note that there were “8” people who survived the flood. By way of biblical numerology, the number “8” is the number of new beginnings! Perhaps it’s not a coincidence either, that the year 2024 totals the number 8, and I happened to have, unintentionally, taught this lesson on “New Beginnings” on January 7, 1/7) which also totals the number 8!
LOVE GIFT
What new beginning in your family and community does God want to start through you?

We must not wallow in remorse and regret over past sins, mistakes, and lost opportunities. Paul used himself as an example in referring to the time when he persecuted Christians. In Philippians 3:12-16, Paul says he chose to “press on” towards his divine assignment which was to proclaim that Jesus was and is the Messiah. He did not let the fact that in his past, he greatly persecuted Believers himself. We too must forget the traumatic events and let go of the guilt that would hold us back from pressing on!

I firmly believe that information makes its way to Satan’s desk regarding God’s people, and he’s intimidated by our potential and power over Him through Christ. Satan then acts by delegating his imps to interfere. His weapons against us are cerebral through thoughts, ideas, and suggestions, that don’t line up with the Word of God, and are meant to bring us down — often by reminding us of past sins and/or trauma. (Isaiah 43:25; Hebrews 8:12).

Many of us allowed trauma to enter in when we may have had something unfortunate done to us, or experienced an event such as a car accident. You would be surprised how many Christians suffer from PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), of varying degrees. You may not even realize it that you have it, and it’s the very thing that is holding you back! My father used to say, before there can be reconciliation there must be recognition. Foolishness enters in when we are in denial, thinking we are burden free and have won the victory, we are most vulnerable, and that’s exactly when the enemy strikes!

I ask you to obtain a copy of my lesson on New Beginnings. This teaching will further enlighten you on the things I have shared in this letter, and the truths in God’s Word that will help you overcome the trauma of the past. You will be strengthened and encouraged in your faith to set higher goals for your life in the future, and armed with the weapons to fight the good fight of faith to obtain them.

Continue to stay in the Word and memorize scripture so you can fight the lies of the enemy with the power of His Word. Your future can be more glorious than your past beyond anything you can ask or think!

God’s richest will be yours as you seek Him first.

In the Service of the King,
Dr. Frederick K. Price

PS: I challenge you to pause right now and ask God to fill your heart and mind with renewed hope for the secret goals and dreams, that you let slip away. Ask Him to show you scriptures to stand on and meditate on them day and night. Know that in the Lord’s eyes, you are royal, chosen, holy and unique (1 Peter 2:9). You’ve already have been called out of darkness to His marvelous light, so family, let’s corporately step into that light like never before, in 2024.
